getting what you want
If you want something/someone you have to be prepared to do just about anything. Wow, that sounds really easy. But it is not.
These are my friend’s words.
That leaves me with the following question;
What if you are prepared to do just about anything, yes – anything, but do not know what exactly there is to do?
The clock is ticking. If you do not get your act together and do something, you know you could loose it forever.
Or are you one of those who do not have the guts to face reality?
I am the last person to judge you; so, please, be my guest, admit it. I promise, I won’t hold it against you.
My friend is clever, don’t you think so? I hate to say it. But he is. Yes, really. He keeps my feet on the ground, even though I don’t always appreciate it.
What is so clever about saying that hard work is a must in order to achieve something you want; everybody knows that, I can hear you say. Maybe a bit sarcastic. And bitter. To people like me, the dreamers, it is good to have someone around to simplify things and remind you. I say simplify, because in your head, you have a tendency to be surrounded by things you do not understand. When someone simplifies it, it becomes apparent that things are not as chaotic as they seem. And perhaps, with the help of a friend, you can figure out the to-do-list you are ready to work through to get what you want.
